Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Dialed Health ("Dialed Health," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website at app.dialed-health.org, our mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: name, email address, username, password (hashed), and optional profile photo.
- Contact information: mobile phone number when you choose to receive SMS reminders or notifications.
- Event and group activity: RSVPs, ticket purchases, group memberships, and group join requests.
- Payment information: when you buy a ticket, payment details are collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: messages you send to support and content you post within groups.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, and approximate session timing.
- Device data: device type, operating system, browser type, and IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for authentication and basic site functionality.
How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services.
- Send transactional messages you request — RSVP and ticket confirmations, reminders, group updates, and account notifications (see Mobile / SMS Information below).
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Respond to support inquiries.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Mobile / SMS Information
When you opt in to receive text messages from Dialed Health, we collect your mobile phone number, your consent timestamp, and a record of the messages we send. This information is used solely to deliver the messages you signed up for.
Program: event reminders, RSVP and ticket confirmations, group updates, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Most users receive 2–4 messages per month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help.
Information Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We share information only as follows:
- Service providers: we share data with vendors that perform services on our behalf — payment processing (Stripe), authentication and database hosting (Google Firebase), and transactional email delivery (Postmark). These providers are contractually limited to using the data only to provide their services to us.
- SMS delivery: phone numbers and message contents are shared with our SMS provider (and downstream carriers) solely to deliver the messages you opted in to.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dialed Health, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard privacy protections.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile opt-in or consent data with any third party for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. SMS opt-in records are retained for the life of the program plus any period required by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
- SMS opt-out: reply STOP to any text from us to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help.
- Email opt-out: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Transactional emails (receipts, security) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
- Account deletion: contact us at support@dialed-health.com to delete your account and associated personal information.
- Access and correction: contact us to access, correct, or export the personal information we hold about you.
- State-specific rights: residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and other states with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights, including to opt out of certain processing. Contact us using the information below to exercise those rights.
Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective" date above, and where appropriate we will notify you through the Services.
